The EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUMCCI) is the latest organisation to show support for Malaysia’s most exclusive real estate event of the year, the South East Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) 2016.

“Since 2003, EUMCCI have been working closely with many private and government stakeholders in facilitating major developments in Malaysia,” the associated said. “EUMCCI is the main implementor of the SEBSEAM-M project that is aimed at bridging small-to-medium enterprises from the European Union to Malaysia.”

The non-profit organisation is not funded by the EU, rather financing comes from events, projects, corporate partnerships and memberships.

Emerging from the former European Union Business Council (EUBC), the primary goals of the Chamber is to enhance the position of the EU in the country, promote technologies and services from the EU, and facilitate dialogue between the European private sector and the Malaysian government.

“We believe that Malaysia can benefit by learning from the experience of many experts from EU.”

By supporting the South East Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) organised by PropertyGuru, Asia’s largest online property portal group used by more than 14 million real estate consumers, EUMCCI can help in introducing the innovations from Malaysian developers to European investors.

Presented by Hansgrohe and official media partner Property Report, the South East Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) 2016 will be held at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, 11 August. The black-tie gala is the third annual edition and expects an attendance of around 300 C-level executives and top real estate professionals from around the country.
